My little June Box

Who doesn’t love a nice little surprise?

(Some people actually really don’t, but they’re in the minority)… most of us happily shell out money just to get a surprise! Tombolas… raffles… Kinder Eggs…

Occasionally you win big (no longer the case with Kinder Egg. Boooo – the prize value has gone down whilst the price has gone up) but usually you’re left disappointed, clinging to your crumpled row of torn-off tickets. So instead, how would you like to get a monthly surprise that is worth more than you pay for it, every time?! Listen in ladies*…

*Yeh, sorry this one is more for the girls than the guys.

I recently discovered ‘My Little Box’. Originating in France, My Little Box send you a little parcel every month packed full of beauty products, fashion and lifestyle accessories, and other little treats. Each box is uniquely designed and themed and is delivered to your door for £11+postage. The value of the incredibly stylish box always exceeds £65 so it’s a guaranteed win!

For June I received the My Little French Riviera Box, all treats within themed accordingly. I adore the colours of it all! Imagine this is your box. Placed in front of you, ready to open.

In your delve, pulling each layer out to see what treats and surprises are in store. image

‘My little beauty’ is a My Little Box own-brand but I have been SO impressed by the quality. This scrub is like a thick sea-salt, perfect to scrub down after a cooling shower when you get home from a day in hot, hot London. I ADORE the packaging too.

These shades are so great – saving them for Secret Garden Party festival in a few weeks. image

This nail varnish is a fab colour but not a brand I’d buy again as it chips off really quickly, even with a top coat. But I like the peacock colour.

I also had these 2 little foldable bags. First thought: “little bit odd”. Second thought; “but so cute”. And they actually look great stacked full of products on my bathroom shelf! image

I haven’t tried this Kerastase product yet but it arrived at a perfect time, as my hair is an absolute state at the moment and in desperate need of a cut. Hopefully this will tame wayward frizz. image

You also get a little blurb on each product, as well as a small magazine-style booklet and a poster. “This is my happy place” sits in my bedroom at the moment, as I’ve made it very zen-like recently. My getaway and serenity.

I’ve had an email to say my July box should be arriving any day now (June arrived a little later than usual) so I’m excited to see what treats are in store next. All I know is that it is ‘road trip’ based, which comes at an ideal for my upcoming weekend adventures!

What do you reckon? Time to sign up?!
